terror in Canada - errr at City News

Okay. News organizations really have to watch what they do.

This pic was posted accompanying the article about 19 year old male Ibrahim Alkhalel Mohammed Aboud's arrest.



I was so offended that City News would just a slap random picture of women in their black Abayah/Hijab/Niqab and make no mention of, or link to, why they paired the picture with the story that I thought I must post this.

When I copied it in order to upload it on Flickr, I noticed that City News had labelled said picture as "jun0306-terrorfamily." Ummm, as fmcfun said: “they need to be more careful - what happened to innocent until proven guilty?”

I can only guess that the picture is actually of the Khadr Terror Family ‘cause why else would it be called “jun0306-terrorfamily?”

So, City News – was it okay to pair Aboud’s arrest to the Khadr when there is no mention of them or their connection to Aboud in the article? In fact, if Aboud is really guilty you’ve just contributed a fucked fair trial and set him free.

Shame on you, City News.
